If, like me, you’re firmly team savoury over sweet, this is what you should be making for Pancake Day. It’s my take on the viral padakjeon made famous by Lee Chan Won – crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle, and flavour-wise landing somewhere between fried chicken and a chicken dumpling. YUM.

It’s ridiculously delicious, naturally high in protein, and made with simple ingredients. I picked everything up from @Sainsbury’s.

WHAT I EAT IN A DAY - ski edition!

I’ve just got back from the most amazing trip to Whistler. It was meant to be a ski holiday, but on my first morning on the slopes I fell and somehow tore a ligament in my knee… so the skiing part of the trip was very short-lived.

Thankfully, there’s actually loads to do in Whistler as a non-skier, and even more thankfully, the food scene is EXCELLENT. Restaurants featured in this video (both meals were gifted):

@fluteandfromage: we loved it so much we went twice in two days! The fondue is fantastic, the cheese and antipasti selection is brilliant and their heated patio is so cosy.

@wildbluerestaurant: genuinely one of the best dinners I’ve had in a very, very long time. They focus on elevated Pacific Northwest cooking with sustainable seafood and local ingredients.

A huge thank you to @gowhistler and @whistlerblackcomb for helping plan the trip, and an even bigger thank you to @epicpass and @epicmountainrentals for gifting ski passes, equipment rental and a lesson. I may only have managed an hour or two on the slopes, but I’m grateful nonetheless.
