I’m often asked, “how come you don’t eat meat?”
The simple answer is, I don’t need to.

Someone told me recently that they like that I don’t “ram veganism down people’s throat” and if I’m honest, I wasn’t really sure how to respond.

Whilst I appreciate that you might find them annoying, vegans are often just people who recognise how harmful and unnecessary the mass production of meat and dairy is.

I don’t call myself “vegan” or use labels. Mainly because I don’t feel it’s all that helpful to be tribal with food choices. I eat how I think makes the most sense. I prioritise nutrition, and I do everything I can each day to avoid eating animal products.

Nutritionally, decreasing meat consumption and increasing variety of plants in your diet is a good idea.
Ethically, I believe limiting animal consumption is consistent with my love for all animals.

4 years ago, I moved from a heavily animal based diet to a plant based one.

All my life, I had attached meat consumption to my manhood, I thought vegans were soft, and I rolled my eyes at the vegetarian option.

I’d make ignorant anti-vegan jokes, thought they were all malnourished, and believed food needed meat to taste good (i was just a shit cook)

Then I grew up, stopped being a meat flake, and started to be intellectually honest on the topic.

When I made the change, I realised how much animal based ingredients are in EVERYTHING, what it takes to produce it all at such scale, and how completely unnecessary it all is.

No, I don’t always “ram it down people’s throat” because that’s not what this page is about.

But perhaps I can occasionally make a couple people consider that their daily choices to over-indulge on animals is unnecessary, unhealthy and contributes to a broken system full of harm.

Unfollow if you’re close minded.
I recommend this product to someone at least once a week, so I might as well make another video about it.

This is an unapologetic ad as it has levelled up my morning routine and I really feel it when I don’t have it.

No step, block, yellow pages or whatever other alternative I try and use even comes close to what I can do with the YOBACK.

The value I have got from this thing is so high. The most impressive products for me are the ones that seem simple, but deliver game changing results. Even my physio stocked up with a few.

Go to Eastnole.com and use the code RUNNABLE for a little 15% discount or go to “all links” in my bio.

Show your support to @eastnole , Founder Gary spends half his time teaching kids and the rest of his time operating the business. It really is worth getting this product for your living room. Seriously good piece of kit.
Beware of oversimplification online.

We may want simple answers but as someone with a good amount of experience with cramping, sadly some things just are multifaceted.

I was undertrained and went out too fast. Certainly factors. But there were some situational things that massively contributed to a difficult day out that I will do all I can to avoid in the future.

Generally, I was physically and neurologically fatigued from a lot of travel and lack of sleep. I believe this also contributed to me being sick early on and it’s all a downward spiral from there.

Many lesson learnt from VTM and as always I’ll continue to share what I can.
