Perimenopause hit me hard.
I gained over 50 pounds, felt exhausted all the time, dealt with constant brain fog, inflammation, and honestly… I didn’t even recognize myself anymore.

I spent thousands trying to figure it out.
Holistic doctors. Blood work. Clean products. High protein. Walking daily. Lifting heavy. Lower stress. Better habits.

And somehow I was still gaining around 10 pounds a year.

The frustrating part?
I wasn’t “lazy.” I was doing all the things people tell women to do.

It wasn’t until I added ONE missing tool alongside the healthy habits I already had that my body finally started responding.

Now I still prioritize:
✔ High protein
✔ Strength training
✔ 10k steps
✔ Lower toxin living
✔ Supporting my body instead of punishing it

…but I’m also down 47 pounds and feel like ME again.

And the biggest change wasn’t just physical.
I show up better in my marriage, parenting, business, energy, and everyday life.

If you feel like your body changed overnight in perimenopause… you are not alone 🤍

Honest question…
It’s not having the perfect house. Not expensive vacations. Not aesthetic routines.

It’s creating a home that feels safe.Predictable.Warm.Connected.

A home where your kids know:‘These people are for me.’

Because family culture is built in the small things:Pizza nights.Inside jokes.Movie nights on the couch.Read-alouds.Sunday pancakes.Walks after dinner.Kitchen dancing.Being known.Being listened to.

And honestly? One of the biggest things I’ve learned as a parent is this:

Kids don’t need parents who manage them all day long. They need parents who connect with them.

Less yelling.More listening.

Less rushing.More slowing down.

Less correcting every little thing.More connection first.

Because kids come back to places where they felt safe… loved… seen… and wanted.

That’s the kind of home I think matters most.
This is just fun! 🤩
