Everyone deserves someone who is good for their nervous system, I always knew Harv was that for me.

I think the clearest time was after my last surgery when I had a catheter in for a while and I kept failing twocs (having it removed and not being able to wee without it). It was traumatic every time. On the final attempt, harv came with me. He brought cards, took me to the hospital cafe, a walk around the garden, and was the most loving, calming, funny soul and guess what… I WEED! Before I had been in a stress response, trauma triggered and afraid but his presence helped bring me out of that and to me that’s the most beautiful thing in a relationship I’ve experienced.

I think us empaths especially need someone like that.

So this is your reminder that you deserve love, yes, but you also deserve a love that is good for your nervous system❤️

I don’t know if some medical professionals don’t realise the impact their words have or if they do an they just don’t have the capacity to care anymore.

These things stay with us, cause medical trauma, corrode trust with yourself, make you think your very real symptoms are made up.

I suppose part of the problem is a lack of awareness and education and part may be that they’re working in a system that’s drowning and over time have lost track of the fact that every patient is a human being with their own story, own feelings, own history and that we are more than a number on a waiting list yo be rushed out.

There are some incredible medical professionals but there are also a lot causing harm (whether on purpose or accidentally) with the way they treat people - especially women and especially black women and brown women who have an even more difficult tim.

The exam stress comment she insisted on even after me telling her that I had no exams…

We all deserve to be believed and to be given accurate information and access to diagnosis and treatments🫶🏽

I am SO sick of seeing all the victim blaming. Of men (and women) commenting on other people’s appearance as if that would ever be justification.

These people are sick. But it starts small. It starts with boys making jokes about girls. Not wanting to call out their mates for their r*pe culture comments and ‘jokes’. Wanting to fit in. It grows to sharing pictures, treating women and girls badly, making nasty comments, thinking you ever have a right to anyone which we don’t. None of us.

Women and girls always deserve respect not matter what we do or do not wear. We get so used to the comments, cat calling, grabby hands, looks, assaults, fear, precautions and we should not have to!!!! This should not be a normalised part of being a girl or woman.

Enough is enough. We cannot have a world run by ultra wealthy, pdfs which is exactly what we currently have. A world run by the wealthiest most powerful grooming gang. Trump making the most misogynistic comments telling a female reporter she never smiles whilst she is talking about the child victims of epstein AND TRUMP.

All of us, every single one, deserves better and most of all, the victims deserve better.
