I didn’t really know what to expect before visiting the Biosphere, but I loved it. It’s such a unique place to learn more about climate change and environmental issues, and somehow it manages to be both educational and hopeful.

On July 16 at the Biosphere, Golden Hour will take on a whole new meaning. Save the date!

Located only 1 min from Jean-Drapeau metro station 📍

So if ever you plan your visit, make it a longer one 🌎🌿🌱🌊

This food centre serves more than 300 meals A DAY!

77.1% of children in Inuit Nunangat are living in food-insecure households (Statistics Canada,
2022). Which is some of the worst food insecurity rates in the country!!!! Food prices are getting higher and higher, especially in the north.

That’s why I’m so glad that community food centres like Qajuqturvik exist. I am so proud of what you stand for @qajuqturvik
If you want to be part of this project, you can volunteer (Iqaluit) or donate, link in bio!

What they do:
- serve more than 300 meals a day
- host Inuit women’s circle
- elders corner
- multi-cultural activities
- food boxes (piruqtuviniit)
- country food store + more!
