super easy to get to and such a good spot there was 0 tourists there lol

📍 save these tips for your trip to japan to get the coolest (and comfiest!) trainers 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

- onitsuka tiger stores across tokyo (and even osaka and kyoto!) can be really busy, if you want an embroidered pair they are only offered at this store, the red concept store in ginza - head there for 10/10:15am on a weekday to get a good spot in the virtual queue (maybe earlier on a weekend)
- the shopping experience during your time slot is chaos - you also cannot find out if they have the colourway you want in your size until you’re down there yourself (after hours of waiting!) so make sure you prepare to be disappointed and maybe come back another day!
- you are in a virtual queue you can check the status of online so you can leave - my hotel was a 15 minute walk from ginza so I actually popped back to my hotel for a bit until shops opened up (they don’t open until 11/12 in tokyo!)
- if you want onitsuka trainers and aren’t fussed by the embroidery then just go to a quieter store that isn’t a big one - we found the ones in tokyo & omotesando station to be very quiet with loads of stock!
- don’t forget your passport for the tax free discount!! you are allowed to wear and use clothing items bought tax free in japan the only items that will be sealed until you leave are perishable / food items!
