(another) sustainable sunday 🌱

sharing things with my friends, returning nutrients to the soil, getting creative with food scraps, taking care of what I own, making my own stuff instead of buying new, and experiencing the fullness of growing (+ harvesting!) native plants… it all makes me feel deeply connected to my community and the world around me, and I hope it helps normalize a slower, more intentional life in a world of rapid consumption and individualization 💚
can PR be sustainable? ♻️

every time i see those massive PR haul videos, i lowkey short circuit thinking about how much waste comes from all the filler + fluff… bc if you stripped it down to just the actual product, it would be so minimal.

so i really appreciated how intentional this package is! everything was recyclable, reusable, or compostable - and yes, i fully realize not everyone is going to shred the paper or use it for worm bedding, but i hope it encourages brands (+ influencers!!) to rethink unnecessary packaging, or at least get creative with its second life instead of sending it straight to the landfill.

ty @davidsoralcare for the gift and for putting real thought into the packaging 💚
office glow up ✨

proof that a bucket of paint, a curb find, and some secondhand goodies can completely transform a space! now brb while I lock tf in in my new creative office space!! 👩🏽‍💻
the amount of waste we create with babies is actually diabolical 😭

so we started using reusable cloth diapers from @esembly and we’re never going back. way easier (and way less expensive!) than we expected.

and if you think cloth diapers are gross, i personally think 40 rose bowls worth of dirty diapers every year is grosser 🫣
