And holding hands with Daddy, too! Her two favourite guys either side of her, what more could a girl ask for? 😍🎅

Thank you so much @noahsarkhospice for the most wonderful day and amazing grotto last weekend. ♥️🎄 #meetingfatherchristmas #fatherchristmasisreal

The pride in her eyes when she managed to control her hand and activate the infinity mirror to change the colours made my day… 🥹💓

Loss of hand use was one of the things that hit us the hardest when regression occurred. Poppy can still use her right hand but very rarely for play, mostly to eat and drink. I just loved that moment of awe on both of our faces (I was smiling so big!!) when her body listened, and she was totally in control, even if just for a minute! 🙌🏻💜

The way these two have bonded in recent months, with the constant snuggles and kisses, just makes my heart burst! They spent the whole weekend chilling next to each other in Poppy’s room while recovering from a cold, it was the sweetest thing 🥹

Lou doesn’t see their differences as a barrier and this is why inclusion matters so much, he doesn’t know any different and loves spending time with her, talking to her… It doesn’t matter that she doesn’t talk back or can’t play with his toys. Love needs no words ♥️ #siblingslove

Poppy benefits from a number of occupational therapy sessions (one 6 weeks block funded privately, and the rest at her specialist school) focusing on hand therapy, to counteract her lost of purposeful hand use caused by Rett syndrome. 🧬💜

These videos show the latest results that stemmed from all her hard work, using the eazy hold strap: she can now brush her teeth again, more independently, with minimal help. Just magic! ✨

This is why having access to brilliant therapists matters so, so much… 🫶🏻 And why budget cuts are so detrimental to our disabled children, who need regular input the most (not just 45 minutes per trimester!) Can you imagine what else they could achieve, if more resources were allocated? 🥲 SEND schools need more funds!!!
