2025 was my most successful year, and the year I realised I’m far more capable than I ever gave myself credit for.

The biggest achievement by far was @bloomreformerstudio Creating it has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done - outside of my family. I’ve learned new skills, been pushed well outside my comfort zone, and discovered that leadership doesn’t always come naturally to me. Being a “boss” isn’t easy when you’re not naturally bossy, but I’m learning.

Bloom has genuinely blown me away. Over 3,000 registrations in just six months is something I never imagined. To create a safe, inclusive space in an industry so focused on aesthetics and to become the Midlands’ most recognised home of inclusive reformer Pilates is something I’m incredibly proud of. And if you’ve read this far, here’s a little secret: studio 4 launches in February, in a different county. 4 high quality studios across 3 counties in 8 months. Wow. 😳

Growth hasn’t been easy. We’ve made tough decisions to protect our brand and our community, but quality and trust have always come first. None of this happens without the amazing team I’m so proud to be taking into 2026.

Family has been so important to me this year, not just the children but also our parents. Hoping that by Easter I can bring some balance back, if you’re running a business and feeling guilty, ignore the noise about “balance” - sometimes being successful means you have to put balance aside, maybe the balance is that you have to balance it all into work. Never feel guilty about being a working Mum.
I’m lucky to have a husband who is such a wonderful dad, who has given all his time to our kids when I’ve been unavailable. The village this past 6 months has been him. It’s been hard me working, then running the kids about, making dinner then working again in the evenings but without that commitment there would be no Bloom. My family is what has driven me this year.

However your year has been, if it’s been amazing, happy, sad or just plain horrible, tomorrow is a brand new beginning… take small steps, enjoy those around you and find joy in the small things. ❤️

Hopefully I’ll be back on here more in 2026. 🥰
One day they’ll realise it was never about the presents.
It was about bottling up a feeling I never wanted to forget.
The magic, The excitement, The tiny feet across the landing and the way Christmas feels whilst they are little.

So yes, I film it.
Every year.

Because one day, they’ll thank me. ❤️
This really is the most magical place on Earth, here’s what we did…
We booked Levi in northern Finland because it has great places to eat, loads of snow and it’s close to Kittilä airport. It ticks every box and is very popular.
We stayed at Hotel Levi Panorama on a bed and breakfast basis which worked really well for us - all of the hotels out here are quite simple of them all this one looks to be the best one– the trip included a Santa visit it also includes taster sessions on things but we didn’t do this as they’re all quite short. Breakfast was great and we ate out in the evening in the small town.

If you’re planning a trip, definitely shop around. A lot of people tend to use Canterbury or Inghams for Lapland, but we got the same Holiday for a much better price with @tuiuk We have done Lapland UK which was lovely , but to be honest, if you are deciding between the two and you are in the position to book Finland, for us there was no comparison to Finland. It really is a once in a lifetime trip. And offered so much more value for money than what we got for the price of the UK one.
The same with Disneyland Paris, nothing could compare to Lapland Finland for us. Really would love to go back one day and try a more remote area. The memories will be with us forever 🥹

The only extra we added was Tundra Huskies, about 15 minutes from Levi. They pick you up and drop you back, and honestly it was the highlight of the whole trip. The dogs are so well cared for and absolutely thrive on what they do. Tundra seems to be the most recommended place for huskies too.

Hope that helps if you’re planning your own Lapland adventure! ❄️🐾#lapland #laplandtips
