AD | If you’re stuck for things to do over the holidays… make sure you check out what’s happening at @englishheritage We came to Osborne and there’s loads going on for the kids, from Easter Quest (with a chocolate reward at the end 🍫) to things like the Big Brick Build where they can get properly stuck in. But what I didn’t realise is how much better it is with a membership… kids go free (up to 6 per adult member) so you don’t have to keep paying every time you want a day out. You can visit loads of different sites all over England and they’ve always got different events and activities running throughout the year, so it never feels like the same day out twice. Honestly one of those things that actually makes life easier as a parent 🙃 Definitely worth a look if you’re trying to keep everyone entertained without spending a fortune.
I’ve done this since 2016 and it actually started in the most random way… I was at the gym and overheard a lady saying she drops off Easter eggs and toys to a food bank every year. I remember thinking… that’s such a simple but lovely thing to do. So I started doing it too 🤍 I’ve kept it up every year since (apart from Covid), and now it’s just something we always do as a family. Just a little reminder… food banks do accept Easter eggs 🐣💕 If you’re doing a shop anyway, grabbing one extra can make a big difference xxxx
