After cooking Middle-Eastern inspired street food at home, Tim Haggis started Hafla Hafla with
‘five planks of wood and a couple of makeshift signs’, serving the vibrant and full-of-flavour
foods at festivals and events across the north west. But he’s happy to say: “Hafla Halfla has
come so far since then.”

Growing bigger and better, it secured a residency in Liverpool’s first ever street food market,
Baltic Market, where it’s become pretty famous for its halloumi fries and pittas. And Tim says:
“This really kick-started the business and made my dream of having my own place on
Lark Lane, where I grew up, is a reality.”

He chose the restaurant name Hafla Hafla because it means Party Party in Arabic: “I wanted my
food to be all about fun.” And Hafla Hafla is definitely spreading that fun this week with the
chance to get your hands on some of the halloumi fries it’s famous for – for nothing!

100 portions of FREE Hafla Hafla halloumi fries will be up for grabs on Uber Eats for Pick-Up
orders this Thursday, October 5, at 4pm - each portion of free halloumi fries will come with
tahini, shipka jam, mint, and pomegranate.

The 100 people who order the free fries will also receive a promotional code to get £50 off Uber
Eats orders which will be sent to their email address, giving them £10 each off their next five
orders over £20 from Hafla and Uber Eats’ other exclusive restaurants in the area.

So, if all that is tempting your tastebuds – it is ours! – go onto the Uber Eats app this Thursday,
search Hafla Halfla, and add halloumi fries to the basket, selecting the ‘pick-up’ option.

Then all
you need to do is wait for your amazing order to be prepared, and pop along to the Lark Lane
store to collect it. This Thursday is definitely time to Party Party!

Invited down to the new @rudyspizzaliverpool on the Albert Dock today. Never ever disappoints. Amazing. Whoever invented chilli honey needs a nobel prize for literature.
