Some people have abs genetically but can’t see them because their body fat % is too high, genetics can also cause that % on different people to be higher or lower, that’s the beauty of it we’re all DIFFERENT 

If that is you then abs can be revealed by eating in a calorie deficit & tracking your macros to lose body fat and that’s where the term “abs are built in the kitchen” is true 

BUT some people can do this and not have abs, this is where training them comes in, the abdominals are a group of MUSCLES, so they need to be trained like any other muscle in order to grow, with progressive overload, intensity & repeated intention ‼️

IMO either should train abs, they’re the powerhouse of the body and having strong abs will improve your other lifts AND a strong core has so many other benefits 

Exercises I love to train abs; 
Cable crunches, hanging leg raises, decline weighted sit ups

Lots of body weight exercises will create a strong core to and there are some you can progress with weight;
Planks, jack knife, russian twist, side planks 

& I love Pilates for core stability, strength and pelvic floor strength!

high protein breakfast bagel sandwich 🍳🥓🥯

448 calories • 39g protein • 29g carbs • 16g fat

Ingredients:
1 @newyork protein bagel
1 whole egg
100g egg whites
2 bacon medallions
8g chilli crunch oil
Green onion
Tomato
Spinach

1. Cook bacon medallions in the oven / airfryer. Add chilli oil to the pan, whisk egg and egg whites together before adding in to cook the bottom. 

2. Add green onion so it sticks into the egg, then the bagel before flipping, folding the edges of the egg onto the bagel then adding tomato and cooked bacon before folding the bagel. You can toast the bagel a bit first. 

3. Warm the bagel on each side and enjoy 😋
