Today, I wanted to reflect on the @britishvogue article published year on the rise of community event hosts and whether they are the new influencers? 

Human gatherings around shared interests are nothing new. But the context in which they occur today and the brand opportunities they present are something to note. 

Influence ultimately lies at the intersection of credibility, trust, consistency and visibility. 

Ultimately this is about which channel provides the best chance at building connection. Recognising the continued importance of offline spaces and moving from transactional based marketing tactics to mutually beneficial partnerships which deliver longer term value.

When we first kicked off our Pride Around The World Tour, we thought it would be a fun way to shed light on how fun Pride celebrations can be. What we did not realise is that we were not only documenting the experience of Pride. We were documenting history.

From standing with the Trans March at the Lincoln Memorial and experiencing Pride in London under the first and only Black CEO. To experiencing the largest Pride celebration on water and interviewing icons like Naomi Campbell, Edward Enninful and Vanessa Williams - This has been the ride of a lifetime. 

It’s no secret that 2025 has been a challenging year for LGBTQ+ communities globally. At times, this project was a sobering reminder that the personal is the political for those of us who are most marginalised. However, it was also a reminder of our power. Our uncanny ability to transform survival into celebration. 

And boy we have grown. As individuals. As Husbands. As Business Partners. 

Above it all, this project has awoken a deep desire in us to tell our stories on our own terms. We want to continue to highlight the voices of queer artists, entrepreneurs, thinkers, activists and philanthropists across the world. 

Here’s to our community that thrives without conformity. Our resilience which knows no bounds and our joy which beams from every corner of the globe. We cannot wait to continue this journey with you in 2026. Catch you in a city near you!

No but for real this was one of my favourite overshares from September so I HAD to bring it to the main feed. Loving my baldness has been a beautiful act of reclamation. To all my fellow hairline challenged individuals, God blessed you without follicles so we could all marvel at THAT face 😍✨
