#AD It’s that time of year again, The biggest fun fair in Europe is back @thehoppings. 

If you’re from the north east the Hoppings is a tradition for so many, come June. Just glad the rain wasn’t too bad and the sun came out, another north east tradition, rain. 

The Hoppings is running from 20th June till 29th June 2025. 

It’s BIGGER & better than ever this year. 
The Hoppings hosts over 400 of the country’s biggest and brightest attractions from traditional favourites to the latest jaw dropping thrill rides. 

Monday - Friday 14:00 - 23:00, Saturday - Sunday 13:00 - 23:00, Final Sunday 13:00 - 21:00

Rides are mostly priced between £2 and £5 with some of the specialist rides costing more. There are discount vouchers available to download from our website..

Pre-payment parking is now closed, all parking is now pay on arrival. Parking is £5.

Plenty of facilities on site, there is walk ways accessible for wheelchairs & prams, dog friendly too.  There is also a map you can download to your phone to help you find your way around the site. 

Plenty of local kiosks and food venders along with Hoppings food/drink village, plenty of seating, live music, children’s entertainment (characters) & lots of photo opportunities too. 

Really impressed this year, really well organised. We spent nearly 5 hours here today. 

Luna’s favourites were the chocolate covered foods and the hook a ducks as you can win Labubus 🤣.

Ice rink is here till 6th January open Monday - Sunday 9.30 am till late. 

Skating aids for kids are £5 per child.

2 cafes site, Tome square cafe open, the other cafe is seasonal. Plenty of facilities onsite, the lift is also working now. Lots of parking around the town, close to central station and close to bus stops. 

Would definitely recommend a festive hot chocolate.
