I HAD A GO AT THE SKELETON PUSH TRACK!!! ad. to celebrate the Winter Olympics and the superhuman Olympians that represent the best of us, I was invited by @thenationallottery down to the University of Bath to have a go on their Skeleton push track, the official training ground of Team GB, that is funded by The National Lottery. They’ve invested £200 MILLION into winter sports since 1995, not just supporting elite athletes but grassroots initiatives too. Thanks to the players of The National Lottery, £32M a week goes to good causes and the Winter Olympics has been a beneficiary for a long long time, and this training ground has proven instrumental in getting our team ready.

From Lizzie, to Laura, to me…………………. hahaha absolutely not, I did have a very great day, but I am no less sure that this is the most terrifying sport I can think of 😂 which is why I’ll be cheering all the louder for our athletes competing in Italy, with this new found appreciation for their strength, skill and MADNESS!!
Quit the pod, pulled out the marathon and now this one haha the year of the snake was big for me! But proud of myself for finding as good a balance as I have do far between work and being a mum and between what I think I should be doing and what I actually want to do. (the not running) London Marathon Diaries 📝 after my announcement at the weekend here’s some permission for anyone that needs it! Running London after my first daughter was born was hugely significant for me, not running it after my second feels even more so. Yay for boundaries!! Xx
