An 02 sat reading means nothing unless the waveform is perfect. I always recommend an 02 sat that includes a waveform! Fast breathing while asleep is more concerning than fast breathing while crying. If a baby under 3 months has a fever of 100.4 F or higher, they need medical evaluation before they get fever meds. If your child throws up medicine within about 5–10 minutes of swallowing it, we often consider re-dosing (but check with your ped) All liquid Tylenol dosing is the same but Motrin/ibuprofen is different for infants vs Children’s versions. Most meds can be crushed and put into applesauce etc! ask your ped if they have trouble with liquid. Call poison control BEFORE you call your ped if they swallow something they shouldn’t.
