@badbunnypr taught us what it means to pay homage to the land you come from, the family who raises who, and the community who supports you.

Coming from a humble background first uploading his songs to SoundCloud to now being on one of the largest stages in the world, Benito tells us this:

“My name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, and if I’m here today at Super Bowl 60, it’s because I never, ever stopped believing in myself. You should also believe in yourself. You’re worth more than you think, trust me.”

And after that, he continues to use his platform (the stage) and his medium (music) to tell the story of Puerto Rico, especially as it relates to the context of being an unincorporated territory of the United States.

His performance was truly inspiring.

It was also a humble reminder of why I started MOSA.

MOSA has always been my platform for sharing stories–of the people who are cooking your food to where your food comes from.

It’s a reminder that food is universal and yet so intimate.

Just as Bad Bunny showed decades of history in 13 minutes, so do we at MOSA. Except, it’s with 5-courses and 90 minutes of your time 😅

It is our hope that we are able to deepen respect and understanding of our ingredients to positively impact your future food choices.

I hope you join us this month as we honor preservation, an often used method of preparation in the winter months.

I never rly get to sit down and experience @mosagather for myself, so to be able to do that for our very first supper club of the year was pure magical 🥹

I met some incredible folks, shared lots of laughs, and it reminded me how deeply fulfilling and joyful it is to meet new people.

Quitting my job 6 years ago allowed me to fulfill one of my biggest dreams... I produced my first large-scale public food event in San Francisco 🥹

If you’re a brand or organization that believes food is more than a product—let me know, I'd love to work with you.

This is the kind of work I want to do more of ✊🏽
